There will be no change to Office 365 account credentials (NetID and strong password). For more information, visit the Office 365 website. For questions, contact the ITS Support Center at support@gmu.edu or 703-993-8870. The Office 365 Calendar is now fully available and supported by ITU. The Office 365 Calendar is the official scheduling and calendar tool for Mason employees. Those who previously used Oracle Corporate Time were transitioned to Office 365’s calendar on October 7.

Important: Mason360 is available to actively enrolled students at the university. If you are a prospective student, alumni, parent, or community member, you can only view groups and events and cannot:
  • Log In
  • Register for an Event
  • Join a Group

Faculty/Staff & Mason Affiliates


All Faculty/Staff & Mason Affiliate (must have netid@gmu.edu) who are unable to log-in to Mason360, you must submit the Mason360 Access Request Form to request an account.

Note: George Mason students use the MASONLIVE email system.

Options to Access Email
There are 3 ways to access your GMU email using Office 365:

George Mason Microsoft Access

  1. Web Access - The easiest way is through the Outlook website. To login, go to mail.gmu.edu.
  2. Mobile Device - To configure your mobile device, see the instructions for your specific device on the ITS Support page: Mobile Devices.
  3. Desktop Email Client - The common desktop email clients are Outlook 2013 or 2016 for Windows and Outlook 2016 or 2019 for Mac. You must configure your email client to connect to Office 365. See the ITS Support page on Office 365.
